Here's a little something you may not know:
When Marilyn died, Joe DiMaggio was destroyed, he really loved her, he actually blamed Frank Sinatra, JFK and his brother Robert for Marilyn's addiction.
DiMaggio died from lung cancer in March 1999, and he died with Marilyn Monroe's name on his lips.
No last words. He just said:
'I don't feel bad about dying. At least, I'll be with Marilyn again.'
'I'll finally get to see Marilyn.' closed his eyes and with a smile on his face, he was gone.
